The beating heart of our tradition, Amarone “Campo di Villa” is our signature cru, sourced from the majestic vineyard nestled among the marl of the ancient Villa district. This ancient vineyard dominates the Negrar Valley, serving as a treasure trove of values and affections that embody the excellence of our family history. Here, the historic Risorgimento ideals of founder Giovan Battista Quintarelli merge with the youthful, innovative passion of his great-grandson Francesco, embodying a contemporary spirit that harmoniously blends with the history and tradition of these centuries-old walls. “Campo di Villa” is a testament to the historic Valpolicella that transcends its boundaries.
Organoleptic characteristics
Its garnet red color has intense highlights. It has a lovely consistency and is somewhat impenetrable. The nose is decidedly complex with a beautiful verticality of aromas. It expresses all the elegance of a limestone and marly terroir, fine and straightforward. Fruity with a pleasant sensation of black cherry drowned in chocolate. A Boero that releases rich sensations of cocoa and wild berries. Sweetly balsamic with nuances of delicate tobacco and chestnut honey. On the palate, it has a lovely freshness and a distinct savory character. It opens gently and offers rounded, enveloping and captivating tannins. Licorice and black pepper with delicate hints of clove and cinnamon. A decidedly almondy finish with a long finish.
